Louise Leap is originally from Scotland, but many years ago, she fell in love with Peru and decided to build, with the help of her Peruvian husband, a hostel in Ollantaytambo.
This accommodation is more like a Bed & Breakfast than a hotel, since their service is extremely personalized. When staying at Apu Lodge in Ollantaytambo you are actually staying with Louise, her husband and 2 lovely little girls because they also live there.
Apu Lodge is located at 5 minutes walking distance from the main square of Ollantaytambo and 15 minutes from its train station. When arriving to the plaza, if you need someone to help you with your luggage, you can call the hotel and they will send someone to assist you.
