Hotel El Albergue is one of the oldest hotels in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The hotel has been attending her clients for over 35 years in the Ollantaytambo train station.
The owner is Wendy Weeks, but since a few years, she has left the administration of the hotel to her son Joaquin and moved to Lima. Therefore, Joaquin Weeks now runs the hotel and really enjoys his job. The staff has worked with the hotel for many years and has become an integral part of the hotel and a part of the Weeks family.
Wendy still comes out to the Sacred Valley from Lima every now and again to enjoy the silence and peace that the Sacred Valley affords. While in town, she uses her time to paint. You can see her paintings all over the hotel.
