Jim Rogers was born in Peru but moved to the United States at a very young age with his parents. His mother was Peruvian and his father came from the States. He began a successful transport business back in the US, which he decided to sell in 1995 in order to start a new life in Peru.
Also in 1995, he met his wife Antuca in the Sacred Valley and in 1996, they got married and bought an old house in Urubamba. After a few years, they decided to change their house in Urubamba into a B&B and started making the plans.
In January 2000, the accommodation officially opened the gates for the first guests and since then, they have received people from all over the world. It is like coming home after a long time. The warmth they give you, plus the style of the whole place, will make you feel like you're visiting your grandmother.
