With the number of 84 rooms, plus a big restaurant that offers lunch and dinner every day, it is important to have a satisfied staff working for you.
Sonesta Posada realizes this and, therefore, they really take care of their staff. Every staff member has to go through training before he or she will is accepted as a new employee. This training is individual and specialized to the working area where he or she will be working.
Besides these trainings, Sonesta also offers many other courses to their staff. Cooking classes, hygiene courses and many more are available to every member, so everyone is on the same level.
Throughout the year, several people in several working areas will get the opportunity to move into a different position within the hotel. Everybody has the same opportunities, both men and women, and they just need to show the right working spirit in order to grow inside the organization.
Most people working for Sonesta are local people and with the investment this hotel puts into its people through intensive training and courses, you could say that Sonesta has trained them to work in the hospitality industry.
